Hi, I’m Yesenia Sanchez, LCSW (LCSW 71468), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I began working in mental health in 2007 as a case manager supporting immigrant families in Los Angeles. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from USC in 2007 and my Master’s in Social Work from Cal State Long Beach in 2012. I became licensed in 2016 and opened my private practice in 2017.
I specialize in therapy for women and teen girls (14+) in Murrieta, Temecula, and Riverside County. Many of my clients are Latina women and girls who give to others and neglect themselves. They struggle with people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, and family responsibilities that leave little room for self-care.
My approach blends psychodynamic therapy, attachment work, and EMDR. We look at how your past shapes your present patterns. Together, we process trauma, build boundaries, and grow your self-worth.
I am bilingual and proud to be the daughter of immigrant parents. I understand the cultural values and pressures that shape your experience. In our sessions, you’ll find a supportive space where you feel seen and heard. I will also challenge you to prioritize yourself, step into your strength, and reclaim your voice.
